Michael Dunn is Professor and Head of the Elam School of Fine Arts in the University of Auckland. He has written several books on New Zealand art including New Zealand Painting: A Concise History (2003), Contemporary Painting in New Zealand (1996) and New Zealand Sculpture: A History (2002).
