SUSANNE BUCKLEY-ZISTEL is a research fellow at the Free University Berlin, Germany, where she directs a project on the Politics of Building Peace. Her previous research projects include dealing with the past after the Rwandan genocide (Peace Research Institute Frankfurt) and the nexus between development assistance and violent conflicts (King's College, London).
