Vittorio Gregotti is professor of architecture at the University of Venice and principal in the architectural firm Gregotti Associati International. He is the author of Inside Architecture and New Directions in Italian Architecture, among other books. Lydia Cochrane is the translator of numerous books for the University of Chicago Press.
