About John Megoran
A graduate of King's College London and the Guildhall School of Music, John Megoran was born in Weymouth and, in his youth, worked aboard the Channel Island ferries Caesarea and Sarnia and the local passenger vessel Weymouth Belle. For nearly thirty subsequent years he ran the coal-fired paddle-steamer Kingswear Castle.
