Amedeo Salamoni, a ceramic artist living in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, has been wood-firing since 1990 and has built and fired many kilns throughout his career. He teaches ceramics and sculpture and directs the galleries at George School in Newtown, Pennsylvania.

The range of work included is much wider than I was anticipating. While there are many items of domestic ware, there are many sculptural pieces including human and animal forms.
