Reviews for Complete Guide to Size Specification and Technical Design: Bundle Book + Studio Access Card
Kevin Freeman, Norwich University of the Arts, UK It is a specific and detailed resource on how to measure and record data for apparel products.
Sheryl Farnan, Metropolitan Community College, US This is a great book if you are teaching students how to develop a technical package. It has very detailed information about what goes on each sheet. I like the author's approach. She summarizes the standards in retail and gradually explains the importance of the roles involved in the production of a garment. I think the book flows at a great pace and really explains topics well.
Dyana Harrison, Clary Sage College, US I really like this book because it contains comprehensive coverage of all garment measurement points. I have not found another book that offers this in such a comprehensive way. I like the inclusion of different types of garment examples and worksheets for students to work through. The students like the book because it is very easy to use and is written in a way they can understand. The spiral binding is also a great addition so the book can lay flat.
Janace Bubonia, Texas Christian University, US It’s very easy to reference in how it is laid out overall. Love the addition of menswear and standard body measurements. Also like that there are grade rules for both number and letter sizing. This is by far the best spec book that is currently published.
