Blair Davis is an assistant professor of media and cinema studies at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He is the author of The Battle for the Bs: 1950s Hollywood and the Rebirth of Low-Budget Cinema (Rutgers University Press) and coeditor of Rashomon Effects: Kurosawa, Rashomon, and Their Legacies.
