About Vernon Biever
Vernon Biever began his career in photography in 1941 as an eighteen-year-old stringer covering the Green Bay Pakcers for the Milwaukee Sentinel. In his half century photographing football players and games, he has shot six National Football League championship teams, the careers of fifteen Hall of Famers and every Super Bowl game ever played. His photos have appeared in virtually every major newspaper in the country, including the New York Times, Boston Globe, and Chicago Tribune, as well as in Sports Illustrated, Time and Newsweek. Biever lives in Port Washington, Wisconsin where he continues to cover the Green Bay Packers. Peter Strupp has written articles for numerous pulications including USAir Magazine, Science Fiction Review and the Milwaukee Journal. He lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
