Germano Celant, president of Fondazione Prada and former senior curator at the Guggenheim Museum, is a well-known curator and critic. Celant is credited with introducing the term Arte Povera in 1967. Massimiliano Gioni is associate director of the New Museum in New York, director of the 55th Venice Biennale, and artistic director of the Nicola Trussardi Foundation in Milan.
