About Daphne Du Maurier
Oriel Malet was born in London and spent her childhood in Wales. She completed her first novel at the age of sixteen. Her second was awarded the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize. Since them she has written many novels, two biographies, and a children’s book. She lives in France.
