RICARDO GOTTSCHALK is an economist with long-term experience in applied quantitative work, international and development finance, banking regulation and macroeconomic policy analysis. He was a Research Fellow at the Institute of Development Studies, UK, between Feb-1999 and April-2009, period during which he did research, published extensively in edited volumes and journals, and was the director of the MPhil Programme in Development Studies (2001-2004) and Convenor of the MA in Globalisation and Development (2008-2009).
