Elinor Ostrom, who died in 2012, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2009. She was the Arthur F. Bentley Professor of Political Science at Indiana University and cofounder and codirector of Indiana University's Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis.
