About Hauck, Maria, Sowman, Merle
Maria Hauck spent several years conducting research on organised marine poaching and fisheries compliance. Her interest in co-management emerged through an attempt to explore alternatives to reactive crime control. She is a Research Associate at the Environmental Evaluation Unit, at the University of Cape Town.
