Shotaro Ishinomori (previously Shotaro Ishimori) is one of Japan's all-star comic strip artists. He became a disciple of Osamu Tezuka (Japan's "god of comics") as a middle school student and published his first strip while still in high school. He has published over 360 separate volumes.
