About Dante Alighieri
DANTE ALIGHIERI (1265-1321) was an Italian poet who is often called the 'Father of the Italian language'. After graduating in political science, ELENA MENGA decided to devote herself to her passion for painting, and attended the School of Applied Art at Castello Sforzesco and European Institute of Design. She now lives and works in Milan, where she specialises in 'the art of emotion', her main inspiration being the paintings of Micol De Palma. ISABEL COE is an author, illustrator and journalist who has worked on a wide range of national and international magazines in the UK and Australia. Her first book, La Dolce Vita: Sweet Dreams and Chocolate Memories, was published by Simon & Schuster in 2005.
