About Philip Martin
Born in Liverpool 1938. Philip Martin trained at RADA as an actor and appeared in various leading roles on stage and TV. He has also pursued a career as a writer and has contributed scripts to many series including his own BBC1 `Play for Today' film and subsequent BBC1 2x6 part series. His other writing work includes plays for the National Theatre and the Royal Court. His contributions to Doctor Who are `Vengeance on Varos', `Mindwarp' and a novelisation of `Mission to Magnus' for Target Books in the `missing episodes' series.
