About Chang-Rae Lee
Chang-rae Lee was born in South Korea and emigrated to the United States with his family at the age of three. He is the author of the novels Native Speaker, which won the PEN/Hemingway Award, Aloft and, most recently, The Surrendered. He teaches creative writing at Princeton University.
