About Harriett D. Romo
Harriett D. Romo is a professor of sociology at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she directs the Child and Adolescent Policy Research Institute (CAPRI) and the UTSA Mexico Center. Olivia Mogollon-Lopez is the program coordinator of UTSA's Mexico Center. She holds a master's degree in public policy from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico.
