(1867.)] In the matter of the Petition of the Honourable Walter Cecil Talbot complaining of an undue Election and Return for the County of Waterford, the Committee Determined: -That Edmond de la Poer, Esq., was duly Elected a Knight of the Shire to serve in the present Parliament. They also resolved: -That no case of general riot at the last Election was proved as would make the Election altogether null and void; -That no evidence was adduced before the Committee in regard to corrupt practices at the last Election. The Select Committee Appointed were: Richard Arkwright, Esq., George Cubbitt, Esq., Henry Riversdale Grenfell, Esq., Lewis Llewellyn Dillwyn, Esq., and Hugh Edward Adair, Esq. Chairman. The Trial commenced on the 26th March 1867 and terminated on the 3rd April 1867. 172pp. Disbound, housed in a protective file
