Frank Occhiogrosso is professor of English at Drew University. A member of the Shakespeare Association of America and the Columbia Shakespeare Seminar, he organized two conferences in Shakespearean performance studies at Drew, the papers from which have become Shakespeare in Performance: A Collection of Essays (UDP,2003) and the present volume.
