Robin Derricourt is Honorary Associate Professor of Archaeology at the University of New South Wales. A former Director of Cambridge University Press Australia and the University of New South Wales Press, he is the author of Inventing Africa: History, Archaeology and Ideas (2011) and of People of the Lakes: Archaeological Studies in Northern Zambia (1980).
