This is a useful collection of anthems for any choir, and highly recommended.

Since many choirs have to fight tooth and nail for funds to buy music, purchasing a collection can be a very cost-effective way of 'kitting out' your choir. The New Oxford Easy Anthem Book will not provide something appropriate for every Sunday; however, there is enough in this collection to make it a very useful resource. If you haven't got the earlier edition, or your copies are in tatters, The New Oxford Easy Anthem Book will be a valuable resource for your parish choir.

At a time when there is so much bad music being produced for use in churches, I found it heartening to browse through an anthology of good quality material like this. Anyone starting up a church choir from scratch with novice singers, or trying to run an established choir with fluctuating or greatly reduced resources, should find it invaluable.
