Approximately three fifths of the emigration from the United Kingdom to America arrived in the 19th century. The remainder came through Ellis Island between 1900 and 1924. Glazier has an excellent track record for preparing indexes, many in collaboration with P. William Filby, one of the nations past leading genealogical/historical librarians and an avid indexer. Glazier’s earlier series relate to passenger lists of immigrants from Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Russia. These volumes, along with the previous volumes, are recommended for reference collections serving family historians.
