Christian Roux is Professor of Rheumatology and Head of Bone Unit at Cochin Hospital, Paris Descartes University, France. He received his medical training at the University of Paris, and his PhD at the University of Compiegne, for his data on bone assessment by ultrasounds. He has published works in the areas of primary and secondary osteoporosis, malignant bone diseases, and Paget's disease. He is author and co-author of 150 original papers and book chapters.
