Prof. Tang’s research areas and teaching works are mainly concentrated in engineering geology, hydrology geology and environmental geology, etc. He has accomplished three national natural science fund projects, one 973 subproject, one subject of national technology supporting plan and a lot of national and ministerial scientific research projects. He won the 2010 excellence tutoring reward of graduated student outstanding achievement (Doctoral dissertation) in Shanghai, and the 2011 nominated excellence tutoring reward of national outstanding doctoral dissertation.
