Excavations at the Etruscan site of Poggio Civitate (Murlo) have produced some of the most spectacular and provocative material recovered from Etruria. This volume presents the reconstruction and study of a large assemblage of bucchero pottery recovered from the "Lower Building" at Poggio Civitate in deposits dating from the late Orientalizing period. Bucchero is a characteristic Etruscan ceramic type that is commonly found at Orientalizing and Archaic period Etruscan sites.
