Bob Brister was a rare combination of field hunter, competitor, and writer. A shooting champion and internationally recognized expert at skeet, trap, and hunting upland birds and waterfowl, Brister was a longtime shooting editor at Field & Stream and Pulitzer Prize nominee. He died in 2005.
