About H. G. Wells
Herbert George Wells (21 September 1866 – 13 August 1946) was an English author now best known for his science-fiction novels, such as "The Time Machine", "The First Men in the Moon" and "The Invisible Man". Geoffrey Biggs (6 April 1908 - January 1971) was born in London, but moved to New York with his family as a child. He was a painter and illustrator for comic and magazine covers.
