The weaving instructions start with a basic square then eight patterns created with weaving for different textures. Later in the book one of the projects has instructions for a 'houndstooth' pattern made with two colours. For joining the squares there are crochet techniques or sewing instructions. In the projects there are a range of bags in different styles and sizes, toys including dolls and a farmyard set, blankets including one with patterns for embroidery. All of the designs are neatly finished and presentable, some of the animals and birds are very appealing, this is very much a book about weaving in order to make things.
