Scott Weidensaul is a founding member of the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art in Millersburg, Pennsylvania. He is the author of numerous books on wildlife and the outdoors and has been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in 2000. He lives in Pennsylvania's Appalachian Mountains.
