Zina Giannopoulou studied Classics at the University of Illinois and is now Associate Professor at the University of California at Irvine. She has held a National Merit Scholarship in Greece, research and teaching fellowships at the University of Illinois, and a fellowship at the Center for Hellenic Studies in Washington, DC.
