Michael Stausberg is Professor of Religion at the University of Bergen (Norway). His publications include Faszination Zarathushtra (2 vols., 1998), Die Religion Zarathushtras (3 vols., 2002 - 2004), and Theorizing Rituals (2 vols., 2006-2007, together with Jens Kreinath and Jan Snoek). He is the European Editor of the journal Religion.
