Wieslaw Krajka is head of the Centre for Conrad Studies at the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin, Poland, and head of the English and American Literature Department at the University of Wroclaw. He is the author of Isolation and Ethos: A Study of Joseph Conrad, and the general editor of the Conrad: Eastern and Western Perspectives series.
