About Hunter
Norman Hunter (1899-1995) was born near London. After serving in the army in the First World War, he became a copy-writer for various advertising agencies. He was also a conjuror and held the prestigious title of Associate of the Inner Magic Circle. Norman Hunter is most famous for his Professor Branestawm books which he began in 1933.
