About Ken Lizzio
Ken Lizzio is a professor of anthropology, having taught and Winthrop and James Madison Universities. He is the author of Embattled Saints: My Year with the Sufis or Afghanistan, an ethnography of an Islamic mystical brotherhood that won the IBPA’s 2015 Ben Franklin Silver Award. He lives in Bayse, Virginia.
