Neville Featherstone served in the British Royal Navy from 1956 to 1986 as a pilot. He has participated in a Fastnet race, sailed from the Canaries to Barbados and completed a single-handed circumnavigation of the UK over the years. Peter Lambie grew up on the waterfront next door to the Island Sailing Club at Cowes. He spent his childhood mucking about in boats and got involved with the ‘sailing scene’. He has raced extensively in the Solent offshore and has spent many seasons cruising North European and UK waters. He had a 35 year professional career at sea during which time he rose to serve as Master of Trinity House Lighthouse Tenders, Coastal Environmental Survey Vessels, Cross Solent High Speed Passenger Catamarans and Ro-Ro Passenger Ferries.
