Fred Hall, Mississippi College Becoming a Multiculturally Competent Counselor is a very well written and timely book on a hard subject. Old habits die hard, so a book that attempts to steer professional counseling away from the traditional, ethnocentric approach to a more global approach requires a very palatable way of fostering or facilitating the movement. I believe that this book has accomplished that.
