Jim Crawley is Senior Lecturer and Course Coordinator of the Master of Social Science (Counselling) at Edith Cowan University, in Perth, Western Australia. He is also in private practice specialising in couple therapy and individual psychodynamic psychotherapy and he is president of PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia). Trained originally as a psychiatric social worker, he has over thirty years of experience as a psychotherapist working in adult and child psychiatric settings, university settings and as Director of a large counselling agency (Marriage Guidance Council of Western Australia).
