Dr Abdul Azim Islahi is Professor at the Islamic Economics Institute, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He has spent more than 35 years in research, teaching and expanding the frontiers of the discipline of Islamic economics. His main contribution is filling the research gap in the history of Islamic economic thought.
