Even though it is aimed at first-year pharmacy students, I have found it very useful for my MPharm course at all levels (Levels 1-4) and MSc pharmacy programmes. Most importantly, the content and relevant learning objectives correspond well to the learning outcomes and indicative syllabus set out by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

The book covers all of the essential subjects that a first-year needs to know and it does so in a concise and straightforward manner. Overall, I think this book is an excellent resource to use whilst studying. There are lots of added features to the book so instead of just text and tables with the odd diagram, the text becomes highly interactive.

I would recommend this book to other students because it covers all aspects of pharmacy practice required for a first year pharmacy student in detail. Many other textbooks go far beyond the scope of first year and even sometimes the course, therefore having all the information required in one book it makes learning the material much more manageable.
