Description for Writing the Book of the World
Paperback. Theodore Sider presents a broad new vision of metaphysics centred on the idea of structure. To describe the world well we must use concepts that 'carve at the joints', so that conceptual structure matches reality's structure. This approach illuminates a wide range of topics, such as time, modality, ontology, and the status of metaphysics itself. Num Pages: 334 pages, black & white illustrations, figures. BIC Classification: HPJ; HPL. Category: (G) General (US: Trade). Dimension: 234 x 159 x 18. Weight in Grams: 484.

Reviews for Writing the Book of the World
Siders book is a great and important milestone in contemporary metaphysics. I highly recommend it to all metaphysicians, although the reader has a mountain to climb. The book is rich in complex arguments requiring careful study, whether you are a realist or a deflationist.
