Lorenz B. Puntel is Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at the University of Munich. He is the winner, for Structure and Being, of the 2011 Findlay Book Prize awarded by the Metaphysical Society of America. Alan White is Mark Hopkins Professor of Philosophy.
