These talks took place in the Mathematics Department at the George Washington University. Following the talks, ValentinaHarizanovandMichèleFriendraised thepossibility ofanexchange of ideas concerning algorithmic learning theory. In particular, this was to be a mutually bene?cial exchange between philosophers, mathematicians and computer scientists.
