Daphne Patai is a professor in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is the author and editor of a dozen books, including Heterophobia: Sexual Harassment and the Future of Feminism; Professing Feminism: Education and Indoctrination in Women’s Studies; and Theory’s Empire: An Anthology of Dissent.
