About Clinton Lawrence Rossiter
Clinton Lawrence Rossiter (1917-1970), one of America's most distinguished constitutional historians, was John L. Senior Professor of American Institutions and a member of the department of government at Cornell University. His prize-winning books include The American Presidency and Seedtime of the Republic. Richard B. Morris (1904-1989) was Gouverneur Morris Professor of History Emeritus at Columbia University.
