Wibke Schniedermann is a postdoctoral researcher at the International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture at Giessen University, Germany where she is currently working on a book about representations of homelessness in American culture. Schniedermann received her PhD in American Studies from Frankfurt University and was part of a research project funded by the German Research Foundation at Freiburg University.
