About Kirti Narain
Kirti Narain is presently the Head of the Department of History in D.G. College, Kanpur, University of Kanpur. She has several publications in prestigious journals to her credit. She has studied in detail the Indian uprising of 1857 and has recently contributed three well researched entries to A Companion to the Indian Mutiny' of 1857 by P.J.O. Taylor.
