Read morewon a position as a Medical Oncology Resident and was trained in the Integral Oncology Department of the University Hospital San Cecilio of Granada from 1998 to 2002, alternating with stages in Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant Divisions in the Italian Istituto Nazionale per lo Studio e la Cura dei Tumori of Milano. Currently, he is the Staff Oncologist in charge of patients with thoracic malignancies in the Arnau de Vilanova University Hospital of Lleida (Spain), in whom he has focused on his medical practice and research activities. He did different fellowships in the thoracic cancer units from the Langone Cancer Center of New York and the Royal Marsden Hospital of London, was part of the first promotion of the European Thoracic Oncology Master Class, and completed his formation with a University Master in Health Management and work risk prevention by the Health and Social Resources School of Canarias (Spain), and an University Expert in Health Management by the Cadiz University (Spain).
