About Liz Almond
Liz Almond was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, grew up in South London, and has lived for many years in Hebden Bridge. She has taught Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University's Alsager Faculty and at the University of Huddersfield. 'Yelp!' is her second collection of poems to be published, her first collection, 'The Shut Drawer', appearing in 2002 from Arc.
