The Day for the Election of a Lord Mayor Hardback. Published 1682. 1st Edition. (4to) Disbound, otherwise a very good copy. The Lord Mayor in question was the ardent Royalist, philanthropist, East India merchant and member of the Grocer' company, Sir John Moore. Considerable controversy surrounded his election and period of office and a number of tracts appeared from both sides.
